What a long strange trip it's been.... After what now seems like alot of meandering down this road we call life, I ended up getting a chance to hire on with a small but mature airline in 1986. I have been living in Hawaii since 1991 with my 2nd wife Sherrie, our dogs, cats, birds, and horses. Currently a Captain flying wide-body aircraft between Hawaii and the Pacific Rim mostly. It's definitely more fun to go to work than it is to stay home..... What the heck, somebody has got to do it.

Boy, we had alot of good healthy fun parties and activities. A day trip to Tomales Bay in an outboard motorboat with an old Johnson motor turned into a lifelong memory for all of us involved during our junior year I think. The motor stopped on the wrong side of the Bay and 4 guys (Bill Martin, Bob Newton, Dennis Seifert, myself) and 3 girls (Ila Darling, Lynn Lomonaco, and Marci Long) paddled the boat back across the bay in the rain and the wind with a boatload of red crabs and a pound cake that all got eaten the next day at Marcia Longs home after we went back to retrieve the boat and our gear. We tricked Bob Newton into eating most of the crab as I recall now.

It does make me smile to think about the people we were forty years ago. I'm afraid I don't feel much different than I did then. Just alot more experience now.

Women and pole vaulters still get on the bus before the rest of the track team. Right? Still having fun. Party on!
