Peri Harmon Valdez

Time for an update:

After high school I became a flight attendant with United Airlines. What a blast. I lived in New York City and eventually transferred to San Francisco where I finished out my career. I took their early retirement with 21 years of service.

I met my husband, Mel Valdez, a Vallejo High Grad, in San Francisco in 1978. We moved from San Francisco to Mill Valley in the early 80's. During our life in Mill Valley we bought a condo at Silverado and spent every weekend in Napa. Mel had many friends in Napa and I had my family and friends there as well. We finally bit the bullet and moved to Napa, on Atlas Peak Rd, where our son, Scott, was born a year later, at "The Queen". Scott's now working on his third engineering degree at California Maritime Academy in Vallejo and lives in Benicia. We moved to Blackhawk 18 years ago and eventually plan to move to the Palm Desert area full time.

I entertain a lot, enjoy cooking, and playing golf. My passion is sports, all sports. Hockey is my favorite, and we have spent many years at the Shark Tank. We religiously tailgate at the 49er games with a wild group of friends. Hardly ever miss a Giants or Warriors game on TV, and yes, I even watch golf.

Over the years, we have traveled extensively and after having Scott, we did it all over again seeing it through his eyes. We are now traveled out. The summers here are beautiful and when it gets cold we drive to the Desert for warmth. The tired old creaky bones love it.
