Lou Ann was one of the first people to befriend me as a new student at Napa High. I remember her as a a fun person who was out of "the mainstream" like me. I believe she died in her twenties as a result of complications from diabetes.

I met Lou Ann in the seventh grade at Silverado. We had english and band together and became friends. I had never heard of Diabetes before I met her. I remember her telling me that the doctors said she would die young. She was a sweetheart.

I met Lou Ann thru a friend in high school and we also had a gym class together. She always wore knee high socks to cover large sores on her shins that wouldn’t heal due to her diabetes. After graduation I worked at PacBell with her mother, Phyllis, then several years later (after Lou Ann had passed) with her sister, Nancy. Phyllis would only tell me that Lou Ann had developed a “motor disorder” and became confined to her bed. This probably, along with the diabetes, is what took her life.
Lou Ann was always upbeat, very amiable. Another classmate gone too soon.

It has been way to long to remember precise details but I remember Lou Ann as a friend.  I chose at that time not to have many friends but she was one.  I am so sorry to hear of her passing and am sorry that I was not there at the time.  I will always remember Lou Ann

Lou Ann passed not long after our 10 year reunion-1979.  I know she wanted to attend the reunion and it was important to her to be there.  We were friends for along time.  I miss her and always will.
