Wayne S. Ferrante

My dad and mom were pastors at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Napa when I was in high school and all of my free time was participating in church activities. In my early 20's I went to Genesis Bible College in Santa Rosa, Ca. It was there that I fell in love with Jesus Christ. After graduating from there in 1977, I joined a Christian missionary group out of Lyndale, Tx called Agape Force. There I did street evangelism (sharing the love of Jesus) and went door to door selling Christian children's records that the ministry had produced. Several of their children's records sold over a million copies. In 1983 I met my wife Deborah while on a ministry team doing street evangelism. We got married in 1985 and had our first son two years later and our second son five years later. In 1990 we became property managers and have been doing that in California, New Hampshire and back to California until now. I also have done accounting for the County of Sonoma and a security officer in San Clemente, Ca.

I remembered moving to Napa in December, 1966 from Fostoria, Ohio. The high school I went to in Fostoria had about 400 students. The first day I attended Napa High I was just overwhelmed of the size of the campus and how many students attended the school. I had never seen a school so big. I remember trying out for the school basketball and baseball team and there were 45 other guys trying out also. Needless to say I never made any of the sport teams. I remembered all the sport jocks wearing white t-shirts to school and I did too. Til this day I still love wearing white t-shirts!
