Class Scholarship

04/17/2014

In May of 2013, a small group of women from our class, led by Debby (Young) Mills, got together for a mini reunion weekend in the Napa Valley. They had a great time, and some were even pictured in the Napa Valley Register.

Amidst all of the fun, they decided that it was about time for the Napa High Class of 1969 to step up and offer its very own scholarship to a graduating Napa High student. In short order, through their own donations, they gathered up more than $900, worked out the details with Napa High, and later that month,  Napa High graduating senior Alexandra Egbert was awarded the first ever Napa High Class of 1969 College Scholarship!  And they were able to do it again this year for another deserving Napa High graduating senior, Cody Dusty (that name sounds destined for fame).

All of that from a small group of generous classmates.  Think about what the hundreds of members of this web site could accomplish. Seems like, in short order, we should easily be able to fully fund an account that provides scholarships for many years to come. Don't you agree?

How about making a tax-deductable contribution in our class name to the scholarship fund,  It is as easy as this.

Make your generous check, in any amount, payable to:
NAPA HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

In the memo area of your check, be sure to mark it:
CLASS OF 1969

Mail the check to:
NAPA HIGH SCHOOL
ATTN: SCHOLARSHIP COORDINATOR
2475 JEFFERSON ST
NAPA CA 94558-4931

Thank you in advance, Class of 69, for your generosity. You are awesome!

PS  Donations to Napa High School's Scholarship program ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE, and 100% of your donation ends up paying college expenses of the selected college-bound students. There are no administration costs.
